Nuggets For You

  •   You can’t put a limit on anything. The more you dream, the farther you get.
  • When it is obvious that the goals cannot be reached, don’t adjust the goals, adjust the action steps.
  •  The beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it away from you.
  • Don’t worry about failures, worry about the chances you miss when you don’t even try.

Branama Queen Kefee Dies

It's a sad Friday as Kefee passes on so young with so much enthusiasm and high hope. Find below a statement from her UK publicist confirming her death.

On behalf of the family….It is with a great sadness but grateful hearts that we announce the passing to glory due to lungs failure this morning of our God’s mouth piece, chorus leader, daughter, wife, sister, friend Kefee Branama Queen … May her beautiful, gentle and precious soul rest in perfect peace. Amen!!
PS: In contrast to all earlier rumors and stories in circulation, I do state that Kefee wasn’t 6 months pregnant and neither did she have pre-eclampsia.
For the family

Dora Akunyili Died Of Uterine Cancer—Family Sources

Family sources have told SaharaReporters that Dora Akunyili, a former professor of pharmacy, former director general of the National Agency for Foods and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), and one-time Minister of Information, died of complications arising from uterine cancer.
One relative told SaharaReporters that Mrs. Akunyili was completely healthy until she lost the Anambra senatorial election in 2011 to Senator Chris Ngige.
The source stated that, at the end of the legal tussle over the election, the former minister visited the U.S. in 2013 to undergo what she thought would be a routine medical checkup. “Her doctor in America did a hysterectomy and found out that she had a malignant endometrial cancer,” said this source. He added that it was the tumor that eventually took her life last week in a hospital in the Indian city of Bangalore after she had struggled with the disease for two years.

University of Lagos Students protest charges for late registration and course form editing

Students protested early hours of this morning due to UNILAG authority demanding that some students pay N20,000 for late editing or registration of Course Forms. Both gates were locked and no vehicle could enter or come out of the school premises, some people abandoned their vehicles on the road both inside and outside the school as there was no movement at all.

Please the gates have been opened for vehicles to come out, so people should get their cars especially those who left their cars on the road as this is causing an obstruction to movement.

Late Kudirat Abiola's children cries for justice

Late Abiola was killed on June 4, 1996 while working alongside other pro-democracy activists to actualise the mandate of her husband, while on her way to see a foreign diplomat on the street of Lagos.

As her children remembers her after 18 years, they are still demanding for justice, they have said the killers of their mother should be made to service the punishment for the murder of their beloved mother.
