Reflecting on the days of Twilight Zone to Flatmate, now Yaw is a household name; how has the journey to stardom been for you?

It has not been rosy and I am sure it has not been for anyone. I am still growing and would definitely get there someday but when that would be, I don’t know. I just believe that one day we would get there. But I have learnt that there are no difficulties in life; neither are there challenges but opportunities to get better. I have been struggling all this while and would continue till I can finally say that I have made it.

I heard this story and decided to share it

There is a girl about 12 years old, each time they are on holidays in school, her parents takes her to her aunt to spend the holiday.  She had some male cousins, who were arranging her for guys (you know what I mean?) in their area for a token. This went on each time she goes there on holidays, however her mum and aunty didn't know about it. This girl is 12 years old now and she’s gone wild based on what she’s been exposed to for a period of 2 years.

This is a true life story, it was shared at a Parents Interactive Seminar, on how parents should learn to make their children their best friends, so that their children can share with them any little thing happening to them and around them.

263 days rainfall predicted in Lagos (2014)

The Lagos state government has predicted that the state will experience 263 days rainfall in 2014, urges all residents of areas that are easily flooded to reclocate.

The statement was given by the commissioner for environment, Mr Tunji Bello in a news conference at Alausa.

Malaysia Airline Search Continues

The transport minister Hishammuddin Hussein begins the press conference.

He says our determination to find MH370 "remains steadfast" - "we will never give up trying to find the plane".

The minister says the 122 objects were spotted through cloud cover.

He says it's not that far from the objects spotted by Australia and China.

"This is the most credible lead that we have," he says.

He says then they can move on to the next stage of the "deep sea search...and rescue," he says. "We hope. Hoping against hope."

Is it Really True That Happiness is a Chioce?

 She wants to know if happiness can really be a choice, with all she’s going through right now, a lot of terrible things are happening around her at the same time, she is 38 years old, no husband, no job, she was driven out by a friend she has been staying with, she is squatting with another friend right now and  she just got the bad news that her mum has passed on, it’s like the whole world is crashing on her head.

 She wants to know how she can overcome this depression. Please help a sister.

Is Separation Needed for Realization Sometimes In Marriage?

They got married after courting for a year and 2 months, everything went on well for a period of 4 years, they had 2 lovely children a boy and a girl, all of a sudden, the husband started keeping late nights with different excuses, work, car broke down and lots of stories, he started receiving mid night calls, still gave excuses that those calls were from his boss in the office, the wife was patient for a while, the situation got worse, now he comes back late drunk and beats her up,

The Action Brings The Result and Not The Awareness.

 

It's in your moment of decision that the change comes,  decide, take action, decide to DO and NOT TO HEAR ALONE,  do it consistently, give room for adjustments as you go on but don't stop, do something different from what you have always done if you must achieve a different result. 

Don't bite more than you can chew, it’s the easiest way to frustration which may eventually end your journey or you may come out with unnecessary struggle, just be committed to that little one you have held, conquer it quickly, don't stay in that little one,

The world today has a way of putting people down, bad news spreads faster than good news, panic and worry increasing everyday, now how do we create joy and happiness in the midst of these REAL problems. Hmmmmmmmmmm CALM down, there is something called the "fighting spirit", everyone has this spirit, this is what we need to develop and win this REAL battle. Identify those things that cost you joy and start dealing with them one by one, mind you a fight is not easy but when you win, you forget the pain easily (the woman in the labour room), WE MUST WIN THIS BATTLE, SO GOD HELP US.
