Is it Really True That Happiness is a Chioce?

 She wants to know if happiness can really be a choice, with all she’s going through right now, a lot of terrible things are happening around her at the same time, she is 38 years old, no husband, no job, she was driven out by a friend she has been staying with, she is squatting with another friend right now and  she just got the bad news that her mum has passed on, it’s like the whole world is crashing on her head.

 She wants to know how she can overcome this depression. Please help a sister.
