Elections postponed?

Speculations from the meetings Prof Attahiru Jega, the INEC chairman has been having since morning says the INEC would announce the postponement of the elections to the end of March and early April, INEC has not released an official statement to that effect.

It is speculated that INEC's decision to postpone the elections is because security operatives are not ready yet for election activities, as they are still engaged in a war against the insurgents.


The INEC's chairman Prof. Attahiru Jega has been in several meetings since morning to be concluded this evening.
