The Lagos State government has declared today as public holiday for it's workers. This is to allow the workers to collect their Permanent Voters Card.
In a statement by the Lagos state head of service, Mrs Oluseyi Williams, the government declared Friday 6th, February public holiday for the public workers, the Lagos State government also enjoined private companies to release their workers on time for them to also have time to go and collect their PVCs.
Every one is encouraged to participate in the voting exercise.
