Some excerpts from the presidential media chat this evening

The President's media chat with journalists started about 7pm this evening. Here are some issues he addressed.

On if elections will be further postponed, he said "Election will be conducted in this country and government will be inaugurated on May 29,"

He also said his opposition party started campaign before him.

“APC started their campaign before me"

"The Problem of APC E-Rats is perception.” this is speaking on criticism from every corner of Nigeria on both parties.

And on the effect of the insurgents on families who have lost relatives he said.

"I feel the pain of every Nigerian who died due to the insurgency.”

Then on what will be his reaction if peradventure he loses the election,“If I lose the election, I will be happy to go home.”
