Asisat Oshoala is a fantastic female footballer, she was the African Women’s player of the year in 2014 in Rivers Angels a Nigerian football club (Rivers State).
According to BBC news, Oshoala won both the Golden Boot and Golden Ball - as Player of the Tournament - at last year's Under-20 World Cup Finals, and becomes the first player from Africa to compete in the Women's Super League.
Here is what Matt Beard said about her: "She's not the finished article yet but she's got pace, power and she certainly knows where the goal is”
Asisat Oshoala: “Since I began my football career I have always dreamt of being a professional footballer so to be able to join the reigning Women’s Super League champions is absolutely fantastic. Liverpool Ladies are a massive Club who have some fantastic players who I believe can help to develop my game to the next level." she said.
